In 1951, Parkway Plastics,
Inc. was founded by Edward Walter Rowan, Sr. with the
express purpose of designing, manufacturing, and marketing
quality stock plastic jars and closures for the Packaging
Industry. |

In 1987, Mr. Rowan, Sr. retired from Parkway
Plastics, Inc. and was succeeded by his son Edward W.
Rowan, Jr. |

In December of 1999, Edward Rowan, Sr. was inducted into
the Plastics Hall of Fame, at the national Plastics Museum
in Leominster, Ma. Around the same time samples
of Parkway jars became a part of the permanent collection
of the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. |

Parkway has over 8,000 customers
and a network of over 400 packaging distributors world-wide. |
